Counselling and Psychotherapy
Private and confidential sessions for individuals or couples:
Lindi’s warm person-centred approach supports the work with engaging, skilful and effective interventions; these are most strongly informed by her experience and understanding of Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Personal Construct and Transactional Analysis (TA) models.
Why and when? Most of us have times when we would welcome help in dealing with a personal problem or distress at home or in work - whether it is affecting us deeply or simply causing a sense of dissatisfaction or confusion, whether sparked by recent events or longer standing more deeply rooted patterns - all are different aspects and expressions of our shared human condition, and by making a decision to seek help we are already taking a significant step towards resolving such challenges.
Sometimes just finding the right book, online resource or choosing to explore with a carefully selected trusted ‘other’, friend or family member, can be the turning point.
At other times finding the ‘best for you’ therapeutic approach from an experienced professional works more effectively in transforming your willingness and intention to move forward into a manageable outcome.
Lindi works holistically and perceptively with a light-humoured approach that is underpinned by extensive clinical counselling experience, a Masters-level training/qualification in teaching Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapies (MBCT) and delivering MBCT and ACT courses within the NHS, voluntary and private sectors.
You are most welcome to contact Lindi to arrange a complementary exploratory half
hour call to discuss further….
